ACADEMIC HELP OPTIONS

Warsaw High School has multiple options to get academic help built into the schedule.

SRT (Student Resource Time): This is a 36 min time during 5th hour on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. During this time students can get signed out by their teacher to get individual or group help. If they do not get signed out by a teacher this is a built in study hall.

Enrichment: This is on Thursdays often used for class meetings, school presentation, or a way to get information to our students without taking class time. If there is not one of these taking place it is used as a study hall.

NHS Tutoring: National Honors Society provide one on one tutoring for our students at a time that works best for both students. If this is something that you are interested in please contact your school counselor.

Teachers: Some teachers have before and after school hours. Please communicate with your individual teacher to see if this is an option.

1-877-ASK-ROSE: This is a homework hotline ran by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology to help student with Math and Science help grades 6-12. Hours are from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Sunday- Thursday from Sept-May. Students may also submit questions on the Homework Hotline website, http://askrose.org/, via email or real-time chat.

Khan Academy: This is an online resource used to better understand all academic areas. Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empowers learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
