WELCOME TO HARRISON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

A campus like no other

Harrison Elementary sits on 40 acres of land on the north side of Warsaw right off of US30 near Parkview Hospital, the Kosciusko Community YMCA, shopping centers, restaurants and more. Though near the amenities of town, the beautiful campus features 40 acres of trees, grass and outdoor educational opportunities.

Historic log schoolhouse and greenhouse

Harrison Elementary is home to a reconstructed, authentic log schoolhouse with an adjoining garden that is cared for by Harrison’s Environmental Club. Harrison also has a greenhouse that students grow crops to cultivate in the garden.

Renewable energy project

Harrison relies on renewable energy with a recent addition of over 100 solar panels which can be monitored by students for real-time learning opportunities.

Disc golf course and trails

Harrison’s campus also features ninehole disc golf course. The course is used by both students and community members and offers a great introduction and practice course for beginner and intermediate players. The course is surrounded by a half mile paved trail.

Observatory and astronomy club

Harrison students are invited to join the thriving astronomy club which operates its very own observatory on the campus. The observatory is used during a variety of activities including star parties, which invite parents to join their students in learning more about astronomy.

Robotics

Robotics also plays a big role with after-school activities. Many students can be found collaborating over designs while creating their projects.

Student Leadership

Promoting leadership, Harrison’s Student Council has been recognized as an Honor Council by the Indiana Association of Student Councils.
