What is Leader In Me?

We are excited to introduce you to the Leader In Me program, a wonderful initiative that is now a part of our school! This program is designed to help students develop leadership skills and positive habits that will benefit them in school and throughout their lives.

What Is the Leader In Me Program?

The Leader In Me program is based on the idea that every child has the potential to be a leader. It focuses on teaching students important life skills through the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. 

How Does It Benefit Students?

The Leader In Me program helps students build confidence, develop strong relationships, and improve their academic performance. By learning these habits, students become more responsible, self-motivated, and better prepared for the challenges of the future.

How Is It Implemented at Our School?

Our teachers and staff have received special training to integrate the Leader In Me program into our daily routines and curriculum. Students will have opportunities to practice leadership skills in the classroom, during special projects, and in school-wide activities. We also encourage families to reinforce these habits at home, creating a strong partnership between school and community.

7 Habits of Highly Effective People

  • Be Proactive

    Students learn to take responsibility for their actions and make good choices.

  • Begin with the End in Mind

    We offer a wide range of athletics, enrichment, and recreation programs.

  • Put First Things First

    Students learn to prioritize and manage their time effectively.

  • Think Win-Win

    This habit teaches students to work together and find solutions that benefit everyone.

  • Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood

    Students practice listening to others and communicating clearly.

  • Synergize

    This habit helps students understand the power of teamwork and collaboration.

How Can You Get Involved?

We invite you to support your child’s growth by discussing the 7 Habits at home and encouraging your child to practice them daily. We will also be sharing resources, activities, and events related to the Leader In Me program throughout the school year, and we welcome your participation!

Together, we can empower our students to become leaders who will make a positive difference in our school, community, and beyond.
