Pincushion Pals Masks

Warsaw Community Schools is grateful to all the volunteers and donors who have helped WCS prepare for a great start to the 2020-2021 school year.

The latest donation of 1,500 handmade masks that will go to the WCS Transportation Department, school buildings, and new teachers was gifted by a group called Pincushion Pals. These volunteer sewers make up to six masks per hour.

Volunteers are delivering 300 more handmade masks for the nurse's office today!

The Pincushion Pals club originated out of the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. Ann Sweet is the coordinator, as well as the heart and soul of the project. Funding support for the materials for the masks came from multiple individual and corporate donors.

If anyone would like to sew with the group, get additional information, or make a donation, please contact Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church at 574-267-6623.

Warsaw Community Schools would like to thank all the volunteers and donors for this generous gift and act of kindness.
