Harrison principal Matt Deeds believes in inclusivity. From kindergarten to 6th grade, students walking the building are met with art projects and opportunities that support WCS Core Values: everyone has value; everyone has something to contribute; people have life-changing power.
Over the years, Mr. Deeds has been mindful to recognize that Harrison students come from many different areas across the globe. Heritage is celebrated. One example is the display of flags in the entry to make ALL students feel welcome.
There's also an art exhibit project going up in the entry soon that again celebrates everyone's unique contribution and highlights unity.
