What a GREAT first week back from break! To kick off the next month of habits, we were introduced to Habit #5, first we seek to understand and then be understood. Our Lion Leaders did a fantastic job at leading the show! We learned that we listen with not only our ears but eyes and heart.

These sweet kinders were thinking like leaders today and using Habit #4: Think Win-Win. One student didn't have ketchup and another student had two and gladly shared so they could BOTH enjoy ketchup on their corn dogs.
The Annual Christmas Around the World Presentations by 6th graders happened for the Kindergarteners today. The flight to each country was brief but so much fun!

Estevon (2nd Grade) saw an opportunity to demonstrate Habit #1, being proactive. Coats and hats were getting mixed between grade levels which ended up cutting into recess time. He came up with a solution to have classroom signs for the cafeteria. Excellent job, Estevon, for being a Lion Leader! 🦁💙
