During the November School Board Work Session, Dr. David Robertson, Assistant Superintendent and Director of School Safety, with Jim LeMasters, Director of Facilities Operations and Construction Representative for Warsaw Schools, shared updates on the Warsaw Community High School project.  The construction project is ahead of schedule due to a warm fall.

The first phase, including traffic flow and the front entry, is scheduled to be completed in August of 2023. Dr. David Robertson explained, “We are very pleased and excited about the new updates at Warsaw Community High School.  The current building structure was developed for the educational environment of the late 1980s and early 1990s.  A big focus is on the safety and security of all students and limiting the entry points for visitors to secure office vestibules.  The new entry will provide increased security for parents, community members, or visitors collecting students for school appointments or making deliveries to the school.”

Over the next two years, other renovations include updates to every classroom of HVAC, paint, carpet, and technology. There will be new classroom additions and increased hallway spaces for internal traffic flow. Additionally, there will be updates to the outside vehicular traffic patterns to increase efficiency.
