First grade students at Claypool Elementary enjoyed stories provided by Mr. Duane from the Warsaw Community Public Library. The focus was to introduce, immerse, and encourage literacy at a young age. Students interacted with the fun books while learning how punctuation helps a reader change their voice to make reading fun. Mr. Duane explained how students can visit their local library to acquire their own library card as well as enjoy many other activities that they offer.
