WLGBC has ended our school week on a sweet note. Thank you again, church-neighbor friends, for encouraging us with all the tangible kindnesses. You have brightened our days!

Today is FRIDAY, May 21,2021. Lunch:Tony's cheese pizza or yogurt meal, celery sticks with a peanut butter cup, fresh orange, and milk. Activities: CITY TRACK MEET @WCHS, starts at 5pm.

Let's show our support for our Track teams by wearing Jefferson Gear or colors tomorrow (Friday). Our teams will be competing in the City Meet after school. Go, Spartans!

Several of Jefferson's graduating seniors returned this week for a "celebratory hall walk" at the end of the day to cheers from current Spartans.

WLGBC knows the way to educators' hearts! Today they showered us with fun stickers. Hard to choose just one!

And now a word (or two) from Mrs. Monce, our amazing P.E. teacher. First, she wants to thank everyone who donated sidewalk chalk. Second, she is asking for donations of gym shoes to keep for children who need them. So, if your child has outgrown his/her gym shoes, and there's some life left in them, would you consider donating them to the school? We'd so appreciate it! Thank you , Spartans, for your generous hearts! We couldn't do what we do without you!

Hey, Spartans! Tomorrow (Thursday) is Mr. Carter's birthday! Since his favorite color is GREEN, wouldn't it be fun to wear a lot of GREEN to help celebrate his special day?

You have been such a source of encouragement for me in the midst of a hard year, both professionally and personally. Your smiles and waves as you drive by brighten my day, each thank you card and gift has been a blessing, and each drawing or note from a student hangs up in my home.
