On Thursday there will be a Boys/Girls track call out meeting in Mr. Sisson’s room during the first HR. Physicals need to be on file by Monday March 15th to be able to participate in track.
Soccer conditioning is tonight and Friday night from 3-4. Please be sure to get your Physical and Code of Conduct sheet into Mr. Weinstein by March 15 to try out. Conditioning schedules are available with Coach Leek in A-110.
The 7th grade basketball team finished their season with a win against Rochester with a score of 39-6. All 8 players scored for the Tigers. Joslyn Bricker lead all scorers with 11 points, Regann Finch had 8 points and Sammi Rastrelli added 6. Lilly Henderson scored 4 points, Erin McManus and Hilary Renier had 3 points each while Jasmine Frush and Alexis Neely scored 2 points each.
The 7th grade finish their season 16-1 and 5-0 in conference. The ladies will play in the semifinals of the conference tournament on Saturday, March 6, 9 am at Bremen.
The 8th grade basketball team also beat Rochester 33-24 in their last regular season game. They finished their season with a 15-3 record.
Brooke Winchester lead the Lady Tigers with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Abbey Peterson followed with 8 points, 7 assists, 5 steals and 2 rebounds. Remy Donovan added 6 points and 2 steals. Addison Whitaker had 4 steals and 3 rebounds. Leila Knepp had 3 assists and Ava Couture had 2 steals.
The 8th Grade Lady Tigers have their semi-final conference game this Saturday against Edgewood at Wawasee Middle School.
Last night the Wrestling team hosted Bremen and our cross town rivals, Edgewood.
The first to face off was Bremen vs Lakeview. There were many Tigers winning by forfeit including Brandon Mejia, Liam Smith, Jorge Mejia, Ezra Stewart and Noah Wilkins. Winning their matches by pin for the Tigers were Hudson Rodriguez, Kyle Smith, Esteban Saldivar, Liam Clay, Brody Duncan, and Anthony Mejia. The final score was Lakeview -66, Bremen-52.
The third matchup of the evening was between Lakeview and our crosstown rivals, Edgewood. Winning by forfeit for Lakeview was Hudson Rodriguez, Kyle Smith, Connor Clifford, Esteban Saldivar, Liam Clay, and Anthony Mejia. Winning their matches by pin were Ilyjah Martinez, Boston Brubaker, Brandon Mejia, and Noah Wilkins. Also winning by decision was Ezra Stewart 6-4 and receiving his first victory of the year, Leo Castro 6-3. The final score of Lakeview vs Edgewood was 76-58. The coaching staff would like to give a big shout out to Hudson Rodriguez who after last night still remains undefeated (6-0). Congratulations Hudson. The next time the Tigers will be in action will be this Saturday, March 6, 2021 when they face off against West Noble.
