They played pickleball, beach volleyball, and wiffleball - creating memories and having a blast together! POSTED: May 15, 2025 Leah Stafford will be heading to Royal Pin Expo Bowl in Indianapolis on Saturday May 17, 2025 to bowl in the Indiana Middle School Bowling State Finals. On May 3, 2025 The Bowling Alley in Warsaw hosted the Indiana State Middle School Bowling Regionals with bowlers from Jimtown, Concord, Northridge, Indian Springs, Northside, West Side, Whitko, Edgewood and Lakeview middle schools. All bowlers bowled four games, moving one pair of lanes to the right after each game, and the scores were all scratch as no handicap is used. Leah was the highest scoring scratch bowler out of the six 8th grade girls bowling in this Regional event advancing her to Semi-State. She was also one of the four bowlers who comprised a team for Lakeview that finished as second runner up at this Regionals event that also advanced to Semi-State. This team comprised of Leah Stafford, Brynly Caudill, Caleb Handy, and Cloey Cordill. On May 10, 2025 Leah and the team advancing headed to Thunder Bowl #1 in Fort Wayne to bowl in the IMSB Semi-State Finals with bowlers from the entire northern part of the state attending. The southern part of the state held their Semi-State in Lafayette the same day. All bowlers bowled four games, moving one pair of lanes to the right after each game, and the scores were all scratch as no handicap is used. After a very tough day bowling on a difficult shot the advancing team missed the cut to advance to State by 18 pins. Out of 26 teams they finished 10th with a combined scratch series of 2,350 pins. Leah Stafford’s scores were used for both team and individual. There were a total of nine 8th grade girls she was competing against and only the top three would advance. She ended up finishing second runner up and earned advancement to the State Finals. #LakeviewInspires #WarsawInspires #Bowling
