Abbi Richcreek

On January 11, 2022, the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) recognized Abbi Richcreek, for outstanding performance, leadership, and accomplishments in the field of technology and engineering education. This honor is bestowed by a committee of expert peer reviewers who determined that Abbi Richcreek had earned one of the highest honors of achievement granted.

This honor, known as the Distinguished Technology and Engineering Professional (DTE) designation is based upon documented evidence of leadership/management skills, continuing participation in association education programs, and demonstration of leadership in association, community, and personal activities.  The DTE professional program acknowledges the essential principles of adult learning and incorporates both recognition and credit for the work experiences and accomplishments earned. This honor is a mark of distinction that is reflective of Abbi Richcreek's success as an Engineering/ Technology and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) educator at Edgewood Middle School.

Warsaw Community School would like to thank Abbi Richcreek for her investment in students; she has proven abilities to inspire, engage and lead learners toward their future. Abbi Richcreek will receive her recognition at the Teacher Excellence General Session of the ITEEA conference in Orlando, Florida on Friday, March 11, 2022.
