On March 17, 2022, Warsaw Community High School engaged students in IMPACT DAY (Inclusion. Meaning. Progress. Action. Community. Transformation).
The vision of those involved with the IMPACT Day Program is that every student participates in a community where they feel accepted, safe, and celebrated. A group of WCHS students were selected to participate and then go forward as leaders.
The purpose of the IMPACT Day Program is to break down negative barriers within a group of students that they face on a typical high school day. This will be done through a series of activities, which encourage students to be more tolerant, open-minded, and self-confident. The program also encourages students to become positive agents of change within their school and global community.
Thanks go to organizers, facilitators, and students for giving their time and talents to enrich the lives of others through IMPACT DAY and beyond!
