Cardboard Boat

Congratulations to all who participated in the 6th annual Cardboard Boat Regatta - Canal Days. 

Abbi Richcreek, Edgewood Middle School Engineering/Technology & PLTW Instructor, provided resources, and support to students in her SRT class with Coach Alexi Demopoulos, Edgewood Middle School Science Teacher. 

Edgewood students built a cardboard boat and competed on Saturday, August 27th.

Fastest Time in Youth: Dog on the Sea with Jacob Stofer, Matias Korpilahti, and Ethan Cook. 

Creative Design: Black Pearl with Ari Harmon, Peri Brouwer, Nadia Patton, Harper Escapule, and Lilliana Rak.

Fastest Kids’ Time: Ace Richcreek and Lucas Rhoades, Washington STEM Academy students, won  with their boat named “Team Mooove Over” with a time of 4:38 minutes.
