Amani Rodriguez

Washington Elementary

This Tiger Tuesday, we’re excited to highlight Amani Rodriguez, a 2025 WCHS graduate who’s already making an incredible impact at Washington Elementary.

Now working as an evening custodian, Amani not only helps keep the building in great shape, but he also recently used his artistic talents to design and paint a custom mural in the gym hallway. He planned the piece digitally on his iPad and brought it to life.

Amani ALSO designed the state runner-up shirts for the WCHS girls’ basketball team, featuring custom caricatures of each player and coach! His passion for art and commitment to his community are inspiring.

Thank you, Amani, for sharing your gifts with WCS!

What is Tiger Tuesday?

Glad you asked! Every two weeks, Warsaw Community Schools unites in their Tiger Tuesday shirts and we take the time to surprise and celebrate an individual who unites others.

Recipients are honored with a small gift, a video highlight, and the joy of being recognized in front of their peers. These moments shine a spotlight on those who go above and beyond to bring people together, support others, and spread positive energy across our schools.
