Board Work Session Recap (Tuesday, April 21)

Student Spotlight: WCHS Swimming & Diving
The Board of School Trustees opened the April 21 work session by recognizing members of the Warsaw Community High School Boys and Lady Tiger swimming and diving teams for their performances at the IHSAA State Finals. The season also included a historic milestone for the boys team, who captured the Northern Lakes Conference (NLC) title for the first time since 1989.
While not all team members were able to attend, those present shared their future plans, with several expressing interest in continuing their swimming and diving careers at the college level.
The Board also recognized swim coaches Deron Manwaring and Lily Boston (including Mr. DeBrota who has had 10 years in the program).
Dr. Hoffert also acknowledged the parents for their support and commitment, including the early mornings and time dedicated throughout the season. Parents introduced themselves and shared how long they have been involved in swimming.
