Lakeview Middle School (LMS) students will have some new opportunities to explore design, engineering and hands-on STEM learning thanks to a donation from Legrand that provided an additional 3D printer for Evan Overman’s science classes.

The new printer will complement Lakeview’s current programming, giving more students access to 3D printing technology as they design, create, test ideas and problem-solve through classroom and extension activities.

Evan Overman, Lakeview 7th and 8th grade science teacher shared, “I am so grateful to Legrand for being an amazing community supporter of the public schools in Warsaw. This 3D printer will be used in both classroom activities and as an extension activity to help inspire students to explore the world of design and engineering through 3D printing.”

Warsaw Community Schools is grateful to Legrand for its continued investment in STEM education and for partnering with WCS educators to create meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities for students.
